At Virtual Preparatory Academy of Florida, we offer a tuition-free online high school that gives 10th graders the flexibility, structure, and personalized support they need to grow, on their terms and in their own space.

Online Tenth Grade Overview

How Does Online Tenth Grade Work?
Understanding how online learning works is simple. Our Florida 10th grade students begin each school day by logging into a secure online platform where they’ll find a blend of live lessons and independent assignments. These live virtual classes are led by certified Florida teachers and supported by daily check-ins, office hours, and communication with students and families.
At home, a Learning Coach, often a parent, grandparent, or guardian, helps with organization and motivation. Meanwhile, our school team provides ongoing guidance to help your student stay focused, confident, and on track.
Students who’ve already attended our Florida online elementary or middle school will feel right at home, but even newcomers find our platform and routines easy to learn.
Live SessionsStudents log on each day and engage with the material through scheduled live lessons and independent study.
Learning CoachesLearning Coaches (often a parent or guardian) provide structure and encouragement at home.
Regular Check-insRegular check-ins with teachers and Student Success Coordinators help your child stay on track
24/7 Platform AccessStudents and parents have 24/7 access to course content and other planning tools.
